• Bachelor’s Degree in Science / Business / Engineering / Manufacturing or equivalent is preferred.
• 7+ years of production/operations leadership experience in the food industry is preferred.

• Ensure the safety and legality of food.
• Provide effective direction and coordination of all production activities on assigned shifts.
• Direct supervision of workforce and Supervisors/Line Leads ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards are met.
• Ensure strict adherence to established production procedures.
• Meet daily production goals, ensuring all are met or alternatives executed.
• Execute the closure and beginning of shifts as necessary (effective communication on pass-down)
• Flexibility to work varying shifts if necessary.
• Understand and implement production SOP’s, ability to re-write or adjust when necessary.
• Ability to calculate and give input on new products (run rates, manning,)
• Ensure food safety, food defense, and compliance with federal, state, local, & other appropriate regulatory laws or guidelines.
• Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed, to maintain workflow or respond to production requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned as required.

• Leads in training, development, and coaching of all Production Supervisors.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department’s area of responsibility; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
• Hires and trains new employees within the area of responsibility.
• Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
