Responsibilities for Production Manager

• Establishes and ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all production department functions
• Monitor workers on site during production activities to ensure adherence to ethics and safety procedures
• Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality
• Motivate workers to enhance production quantity and at the same time maintain high production standards
• Collaborate with other General Manager to determine production needs
• Manage production schedule for on-time delivery
• Identify and address key concerns that may alter or impact on-time delivery
• Partner with design team for product development and improvement
• Partner with internal teams to engineer products within cost parameter
• Track development milestones to meet set deadline
• Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates

Qualifications for Production Manager

• 
  5+ years' experience in a production management, excellent organizational and leadership skills
• In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean philosophies
• Analytical thinking with problem solving aptitude
• Previous experience working in a specialty vehicle manufacturer, EV experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Team Development in a start-up environment
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Lean Development, Management and Continuous Improvement Champion

Preferred Skills for Production Manager

• Previous experience in a start-up environment a plus
• Previous experience implementing an ERP system a plus
• Degree or Certification in production management to applicable discipline
• Lean certification
