Product Support Specialist Trainee Job at Sudden Service, Inc.
Basic purpose:
To train for the position of Product Support Specialist Level I
Nature and Scope:
Work in various departments as directed to gain knowledge of Taylor equipment and processes. Report every Friday to the Product Support Manager for the next week’s training. This will be a written report due every Friday afternoon. Product Support Manager will assign departments to work in each Friday afternoon and give personnel to report to as well as start time. The Product Support Manager will enroll this trainee in service schools and can pull the trainee out of training at any time to send out with Field Service Technicians to repair equipment. This position requires a professional attitude. This trainee will be in front of Taylor customers and is expected to always maintain a professional image and attitude to promote the Taylor way of doing business. When the trainee completes 1 year of training or acquires his master certification, he will leave the trainee status and become a Product Support Specialist Level 1 or 2; whichever is applicable depending on progress.
Principal Accountabilities:
Report to Product Support Manager each Friday for instructions for the next week.
Prepare a report each Friday afternoon on the week’s activities. What was worked on and what is in process
Attend appointed service schools and help where needed within those schools.
This job will alternate between Louisville and Philadelphia. Product Support manager will determine which location to report to.
