Job Title: Product Planner

Location: Houston, TX

Reports To: Master Scheduling Supervisor

Job Purpose:

· Responsible for schedule follow up and management for specific orders. Tracks assigned orders from quote through delivery to ensure they progress per schedule and maintain communication with the responsible PM/ISPM for communication to the customer.

· Support and share Master Scheduling responsibilities to create and maintain a level load production schedule and manage change orders to ensure they are captured in the execution phase and still on track for on time delivery.

Responsibilities and Essential Requirements:

· Ownership and accountability of execution, risk mitigation, system data integrity, schedule, etc. of assigned orders; anticipate managing multiple orders at any given time.

o Participates early in order quote/award stage to ensure requirements are addressed prior to order commitment and that execution strategy is well understood and documented

o Early engagement on assigned new orders to fully understand product scope and delivery expectations

o Support Master Scheduling in establishing engineering release and execution schedule

o Analyze system data and monitor progress of order through the whole execution value stream and functional steps to ensure order remains on schedule, paying special attention to handovers between departments

· Proactively identify and resolve risk to avoid (or minimize) impact to order delivery through driving cross-functional solutions, including but not limited to:

o Monitor expected release date from engineering and support resolution to issues that put order on hold or put on time release at risk

o Review shortage/exception reports and engage purchasing to resolve

o Help identify changes that should be communicated to Customers through Change Orders, help Project Schedulers and ISPM/PM to prepare the schedule impact information of those changes

o Support Production Control and Manufacturing teams through execution phase and help overcome any unforeseen challenges (liaise with customer services, PE, etc.)

o Communicate back to PM/ISPMs and operations leadership any issues that puts delivery of order at risk

· Ensure fundamental system information related to assigned orders is kept up to date to ensure accuracy of Master Production Schedule (MPS).

· Support and Share Master Scheduling responsibilities, duties include but not limited to setting up planning attributes, sourcing strategies, managing change orders, managing resource load profiles, etc. and improvement projects related to planning.

· HSE Roles and Responsibilities

o Properly use all the safety equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other devices and procedures provided or directed by the MOGAS Industries Inc. and necessary for their protection

o Co-operate with MOGAS Industries Inc., own supervisor and manager for the purposes of protecting the health and safety of all employees;

o Immediately report all incidents to the supervisor or the Joint HSE Committee Representative, including but not limited to near misses, property damage, injuries and illnesses.

o Assist the Joint HSE Committee by being a representative if required and/or provide information when asked.

o Actively participate in the workplace inspection program to help create a safer and healthier work environment by making suggestions/recommendations to improve existing conditions and HSE requirements.

o Acknowledge that performing modified work is a condition of employment once medical clearance is given following a workplace injury/illness.

o Acknowledge that they have the DUTY and OBLIGATION to refuse “Unsafe Work”.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· N/A

Required Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Three (3) to 5 (five) years minimum experience in Planning

· One (1) year minimum experience in engineering-to-order manufacturing environment.

· APICS certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
