Position: Product Manager
Status: Permanent, Full Time- Remote based out of Alameda, CA
Reports to: Vice President of Monitoring Products
Role Overview
We are building a team and looking for a Product Manager to guide the product development roadmap for several existing and upcoming projects, both hardware and software.
We are looking for a highly-motivated, self-starter who is interested in working in an extremely fast paced, dynamic start-up environment. The chosen candidate will actively participate in the Solution definition along with writing relevant guidance and specifications to coordinate development teams.
The position would require a thorough understanding of the power domain and be familiar with complex product launches.
Responsibilities
· Assist the VP of Monitoring Products to develop existing and launch new products and services.
· Collect input from sales, tech support, marketing and run tactical development list prioritization.
· Publish with inputs and feedback from peers, the technical data sheet and other marketing support materials.
· Work with executive management to develop product roadmaps, ROI analysis, competitive assessments and financial analysis to create product launch plans
· Work with autonomy and full ownership of several product lines in various life stages (Inception, development, pre-and post-commercialization)
· Develop marketing, promotional and educational strategies around product launches
· Work directly with teams of engineers, software developers, sales and operations daily
· Contribute to the user experience and early interface prototyping.
· Easily share and communicate the product vision and unique selling points.
· Identify the minimum viable product to attract early adoption customers.
· Leverage user insights to drive new or improve existing product features.
Skills
Minimum of 2-5 years in the power/energy sector, Product owner, product manager position. You understand the product life cycle.
· Natural communicator, and great soft skills. People will naturally follow you.
· Strong technical background in Power Sector, coupled with a great business acumen and empathic to customer needs.
· Power Quality domain expertise
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s in engineering
· Proficiency in English
