Responsibilities:
- Travel to multiple store locations throughout the assigned area and consult in the management and merchandising of the produce department.
- Work with produce directors, produce managers, other merchandisers, and store personnel to ensure the product is displayed, handled, prepared, and stored in an ideal manner for conditions and appearance
- Communicate and work closely with internal company personnel including sales and operations
- Set up produce displays, resets, and tent sales. Ability to sell ideas and create excitement through displays and merchandising
- All other duties as requested or assigned
Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years of produce experience preferred
- 1+ years of produce management experience is ideal
- Able to alternate between walking and sitting
- Constant bending, stooping, twisting, turning, and climbing
- Valid Driver License
- Satisfactory driving record and ability to drive long distances regularly
- Excellent communication skills
- Three or more years of produce experience preferred
- One year or more of produce management experience ideal
- Proven team player, self-motivated, independent thinker
- Passionate about what they do and the processes within their area
- Position is contingent upon a successful background check, an acceptable motor vehicle records check, and ability to pass a drug screen, including THC.
