Are you skilled in the design of mixed-signal electronic hardware? Do you want to develop cutting-edge Global Positioning System (GPS) user equipment delivering Military Code, Anti-Jamming, Anti-Spoofing and Alternative Navigation solutions for U.S. government customers? If so, then this could be the role for you.

The electromagnetic environment is growing ever more contested due to increasing spectrum use and maneuvers by adversaries who seek to deny U.S. military systems the ability to accurately determine their position, velocity, and timing. Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI&S) creates resilient sensor and receiver solutions that keep US service members safe with real-time data and information in even the most challenging environments.

Global Spectrum Dominance (GSD) Hardware Engineering organization is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer experienced in mixed-signal circuit card assembly (CCA) design for GPS or other receivers. This position in the Resilient Navigation (RNAV) Department specializes in development of military GPS user equipment capable of maintaining accurate position, navigation, and timing despite jamming and spoofing attempts. The Principal Electrical Engineer develops hardware that integrates RF, digital, and analog functions to meet specifications provided by our customers. The RNAV product line covers military-code GPS receiver solutions for airborne, naval, and land-based applications. This position is responsible for the product design, integration, and verification testing of receiver hardware for the entire development cycle. The design includes architecture, simulation, schematic capture, peer reviews and then following the design through mentor graphics layout and finally lab integration and test.
