As a Pricebook Manager, you will be responsible for all activities relating to maintenance of the High’s Pricebook for the convenience merchandise using the PDI Enterprise platform. Additionally, the Pricebook Manager will provide support to the Merchandising Department by actively participating in margin analyses, ad-hoc reporting, store communications, and special projects as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own and manage all aspects of the High’s retail pricebook, including item set up, authorizations, and attributes as well as cleanup of old or invalid information.
- Routinely review warnings and errors from multiple sources to ensure that all information being entered into the pricebook is correctly synthesized and
- Work with the Marketing Group on a regular basis to ensure that promotional requests submitted through MachForm, or otherwise, can be fulfilled without issue and are set up accurately and on time.
- Test system changes to Pricebook, including those resulting from both projects and system upgrades.
- Define target margins by vendor and by subcategory, and maintain both the target and actual margins to minimize system warnings.
- Manage MachForm submissions and provide data exports as requested.
- Maintain rules, pricing, and setup for tobacco manufacturers, and update account profiles as required.
- Maintain good relationships with Vendor and Account Representatives.
- Update and manage state and local retail sales tax as necessary.
- Create, maintain, and update pricebook/software documentation as new processes and enhancements are implemented.
- Maintain and update menu keys, and touch screens in Commander POS system.
- Update and maintain Rebate Manager. Support and manage the Pricebook Clerk as well as provide guidance and training, as needed.
- Collaborate with Operations to educate and inform store managers and district managers about Enterprise functions, reports, and abilities; provide written documentation to make available to stores and store managers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years’ experience with managing POS solutions.
- Previous experience and understanding of PCI compliance requirements, preferably PCI DSS 4.0.
- Must have reliable transportation and be acceptable to occasional travel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Work is highly independent, must be comfortable in a self-directed work environment.
- Must have a positive attitude in a team environment.
- 2-year degree in Business or related field or two years related experience preferred.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic Accounting and experience in inventory management is preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with concepts and practices within a retail environment.
- A thorough knowledge of PDI Enterprise and is preferred; however, proficiency will be required within 6-12 months.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to compose and proof materials.
- Ability to effectively present information to co-workers and store associates.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in synthesizing data.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- 80% Field Work; 20% office environment
- Position requires travel to various store locations
- Ability to life objects up to 50 lbs. without assistance
