We're seeking creative, positive and motivated individuals to join our team as Teacher Assistants. Full and part time positions available working Monday-Friday with weekends off. Starting pay is $13.50 -$15.00 per hour plus benefits and paid time off.
Opportunities are available in all programs (Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and School Age) at all five of our school locations (Central Falls, Pawtucket, Providence, Rumford, Warren). Job responsibilities include working with a Lead Teacher to:
- Ensure child safety and effective educational programming while following state regulations and company policies.
- Foster a nurturing and caring learning experience for children in the classroom.
- Implement classroom curriculum and support children in all aspects of their developmental, emotional and social growth.
- Actively engage in communications with parents/guardians to provide timely feedback on children's progress.
Requirements
Must be 18+ years of age with a High School Diploma or GED. Preference will be given to candidates with past experience and/or course work in early childhood education topics.
While performing this role, you will need to frequently walk, jog, use and reach with hands and arms, stand, sit, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and crawl throughout your shift. Must be able to regularly light and carry up to 35 lbs and in the event of an emergency may be required to carry a child weighing up to 50 lbs.
