Preconstruction Manager - Light Industrial/Tilt-Up Job at Tiello
Tiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in Phoenix, AZ on their search for an Estimator focused on Industrial, Tilt-Up, Warehouse, Data Center, Commercial, and Manufacturing Projects to join their growing team.
Construction Estimator Responsibilities:
- MUST have experience with ground-up Industrial construction projects from conception to completion.
- Estimating costs.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite construction costs to ensure they are within budget.
- Select tools, materials, equipment, and track inventory.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Construction Estimator Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
- Familiarity with MS Office Products
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Leadership and human resources management skills.
- Excellent time and estimating skills.
- At least five years experience in ground up industrial projects construction estimating.
