Essential Functions:
- Interact positively with children.
- Plan and implement the Ascend Curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs according to the guidelines established by Cadence Education.
- Greet each child enthusiastically and establish a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care and friendly service.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere of child behavioral guidance and learning within established state staff/child ratios.
- Mentor and guide Teacher assistant(s) in daily classroom duties that include, but not limited to; supporting weekly lesson plan activities, effective classroom management and positive guidance.
- Maintain safety and supervision of children at all times.
- Maintains all licensing compliance and government health and safety standards
- Recognize and address children’s diverse learning styles, as well as social, cultural, emotional, developmental and educational needs. Communicate concerns to the Director.
- Document children’s progress and conduct parent conferences in a timely basis.
- Sit and participate with children during activities and meal times.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
