Porter Job at Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar
Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar is looking to add a talented porter to our morning team. This person must be self motivated, reliable, and a team player.
This position will assist with various tasks in the kitchen including: ensuring overall cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas, checking in orders, ensure cleanliness and organization of storage areas, etc.
Job Responsibilities include:
Organize and maintain all storage areas including but not limited to:
o Coolers, freezers, paper room, dry goods, sushi storage
o Everything properly put away and organized for proper flow
o Floors swept, mopped as needed
o Shelves wiped down as needed
Keep loading dock area clean and maintained
o Sweep under grid as needed
o Doors wiped down as needed
Make sure all kitchen and employee restroom handwashing stations are maintained
o Soap
o Paper towels
o Backups accessible
· Cleanliness of downstairs hallways
Assist with dishwashing, trash removal, breaking down boxes when available
Assist with monthly inventory as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Self-motivated
· Reliable
· Organized
· Be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
· Be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
· Work cleanly and thoroughly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.31 - $16.57 per hour
