We need a problem-solving pool repair technician to diagnose and repair pools for a variety of clients in our community. A company vehicle is provided to service customers' homes. Daily activities can include troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing faulty pool equipment. The ideal candidate can interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner, has 3 years or greater technical experience, and is proficient with plumbing and electrical. Compensation:$17 - $25 houly + Bonuses
Responsibilities:- Diagnose faulty equipment to determine if it needs to be fixed or replaced
- Detect and correct leaks or cracks in the pool area’s structure, pipes, or plumbing
- Keep record of all paperwork and services performed
- Survey pH levels of water, and add or maintain chemicals as needed
- Replace underwater light fixtures
- Install and diagnose pool automation
- Installation and programming of variable speed pumps
- Troubleshoot plumbing and equipment leaks for repair or replacement including pumps, filters, plumbing, valves, check valves
- Identify equipment models and part numbers for replacement
- Installation of motors, variable speed pumps, filters, timers, pool lights, salt systems, or automation
- Keep records of services performed including pictures
- Perform drain and acid washing of pools
- Instruct clients on best practices for maintaining their pool
- Candidate must have high school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift heavy equipments and dexterity are required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Previous experience as a pool technician and understanding of common pool maintenance techniques, chemicals, and equipment
- Must be able to work in harsh weather conditions
- Must have 3 years or greater pool repair experience
