We are looking for Experienced Pizza Cooks to join our team!

We are a gourmet Italian market and restaurant. The Trattoria (restaurant) is an upscale casual environment. We serve authentic Italian food including Hand Stretched, Wood Fired Oven, Napolitana Style Pizzas. Full Time positions available. We are willing to train inexperienced individuals with Good Attitudes!

Experience preferred but we will train the right person. Must be presentable, dependable, have reliable transportation, possess good communication skills and demonstrate a high degree of drive and determination.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces/doughs).
• Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Stock station inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum six months to a year professional cooking experience preferred.
• Requires knowledge of food production, storage, handling, and commercial use culinary equipment.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
• Requires full mobility for entire duration of shift.
• Requires ability to lift 20-50 pounds frequently.
• Comfort with varying environmentally controlled temperatures from kitchen area and coolers.
