Our Urgent Care in Randolph, NJ is under new ownership/management and we are looking for a qualified PA or NP to add to our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable seeing patients of all age groups. MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE, AT LEAST 1 YEAR IN ER OR URGENT CARE MEDICINE. Our facility is undergoing changes and candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to his or her surroundings. Candidate must be a team player and be willing to aid other colleagues when the need arises. You’ll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have team spirit and a positive outlook on life. The patient experience is our number one priority, so a great smile and attitude is key! Our center is UCAOA Accredited, open 365 days/year and offers X-Ray, EKG and point of care lab testing on site.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Ensure proper diagnosis, treatment, and management of minor illnesses and injuries
*Diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 positive patients in an Urgent Care setting
*Evaluation and treatment of student athletes, worker's compensation, and DOT patients who require physicals.
*Assessment and treatment of the pediatric patient with minor illnesses
*Follow basic clinical care standards and practice evidence-based medicine
*Orthopedic injury management
*Complete chart documentation using an EMR
*Consult with the physician on call in the event of complex medical cases and when patients may need referral to a specialist or the emergency department
REQUIREMENTS:
*Certified Physician Assistant or NP Licensed to practice in NJ
*Mandatory EKG and X-ray reading ability
*Suturing, Splinting, I&D And Other Procedural Skills
*Comfortable with the evaluation and management of all age groups
*Excellent bedside manner, customer satisfaction skills and solid clinical judgment
*Strong work ethic and desire to help create an amazing Urgent Care experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour
