Job description
Valley Urgent Care is searching for a dedicated, friendly, experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Valley Urgent Care Team!
We require to have at least two years of Family Medicine, Urgent Care or Emergency room experience with excellent clinical skills, customer service skills, and bedside manners. This position is an independent contractor and part-time only.
Valley Urgent Care is rated #1 in the San Fernando Valley because of our attention to detail, friendliness and dedication to our patients and community. The ideal candidate should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Minimal two years of Family Medicine, Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience
- 1-2 years of minor procedures such as suturing and or/suture removal, toenail removals, I&D’s, removal of foreign objects
License/Certification:
- Active license to practice in the state of CA (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- Active DEA license
Experience and understanding of Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine
- Experience working in a fast paced clinical environment
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments
- Experience with Telemedicine consultations is appreciated but not required.
- Excellent bedside manners and inviting personality.
- Knowledge regarding the current COVID19 pandemic is appreciated
Job details
Available shifts
1-2/12 hour shifts during the week
Weekend availability, 5 hour shift (Saturday’s Only) - 1 Saturday a month required
