We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Receptionist / Office Manager to join our team at Beyond Radix Physical Therapy Secaucus and Hackensack locations!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets and assists all patients and visitors in the office and by telephone. Obtains patient information, data entry information into the practice management system and schedules patient appointments on daily basis. Checks out patients, collects payments, completes appointments and checks insurance authorization requirements. Filing, scanning and organizing patient files on daily basis as per the protocols. Maintains a safe, secure, healthy and friendly work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS

-Excellent customer service skills.
-Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
-Ability to think critically and analytically with little or no supervision.
-Ability to work effectively in situations of high stress and conflict and communicate goals and outcomes.

-Possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
-Possesses independent work habits, is self-reliant and self-directed.

-Ability to use good body mechanics while performing daily job functions.
-Ability to maintain attendance to meet standard job practices.
-Medical terminology, knowledge of insurance and reimbursement procedures is a plus but not required.
-Knowledge of third party payers, billing requirements and reimbursement methods is a plus but not required.
-Prior accounts receivable, collections, or billing experience is a plus.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
SKILLS
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- Previous experience preferred in Medical Office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
