Hi, I am Delaine Fowler, owner of Accelerate Therapy and Performance. I hope you are okay with me telling you a little about our backstory.

After graduating PT school... I worked with a company that allowed me to travel around to different clinics to see how they all operated. I worked in a couple different settings on the side as well including home health and in a nursing home. In that time, I realized there was a huge difference in what patients experienced as “PT care”.

Those healthcare organizations were focused on:

Total number of Evals...

Total Number Of Visits...

Productivity...

Finalize Notes...

metrics... Metrics... METRICS!

You get the idea.

I remember the nights coming home late, and being so frustrated.

I kept asking myself…Why is the patient not in the center of all of this?

Don't get me wrong I learned a ton, but I wanted to "Be Different"

Just like you...

So, I quit my corporate job and started my own private PT practice where I treated patients 1-to-1 vs 1-to-many.

A couple of patients started to trickle in...

Then a couple of patients started to get better...QUICKER.

The interesting part was...

I was performing the same therapy techniques...

I was performing the same exercises...

But patients were getting better... quicker... like 3-5x quicker.

It was because the amount of ATTENTION I was able to give each patient changed drastically.

Over the past couple of years we have been able to help 1000s of local residents!

The key "metrics" we pride ourselves on are not volume, the number of new patients, or gross revenue.... but our customer satisfaction and staff retention rates.

Most of our staff has been with us for 3+ years after hire. They love working with rock stars who are focused on patient care and patient experience just like me.

And for that, we are blessed to have such a great team here at Accelerate.

Accelerate Therapy and Performance (ATP) is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team of experts in orthopedics and manual therapy and rehabilitation in our Salisbury, NC clinic.

ATP strives to help people feel better, move better, and stay better. We know patients benefit the most from having a knowledgeable expert at their fingertips to address their physical issues and improve their overall wellness.

We are excited to add this position to our growing company. We recently opened an additional clinic in Concord, NC. It is our second clinic that we are opened with the goal of helping more of the community move and feel better.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be licensed within the State of North Carolina as a Physical Therapist
• Fulfill our need for a happy, engaging, passionate, professional clinician
• Be competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Google Suites
• Have experience or an interest in orthopedic and musculoskeletal pathologies

With the understanding that many newly graduated Physical Therapists will still need to undergo state and national exams, we plan to start our newest PT in July/August 2023.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
