THINGS TO EXPECT AS A TRANSPORTATION DRIVER:

• Complete pick-up of in-kind donations and drop-off at designated A New Leaf sites.
• Load and unload donations safety and effectively.
• Ensure all contents are secured in vehicle to prevent any damage or injury.
• Ensure Agency vehicles are kept clean and orderly.
• Report any Agency vehicle maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
• Follow pick-up and delivery schedule.
• Adhere to all driving laws, safety regulations, and speed limits while on duty.
• Interact with donors, community partners, volunteers, and co-workers with professionalism.
• Must be able to lift up a minimum 50lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders, stoop, and bend down.
• Drive personal vehicle and Agency vehicles to conduct agency business and pick up donations.

Schedule: Monday 8am-1pm, Wednesday 8am-1pm, Friday 8am-1pm, and Sunday 9am-2pm (flexibility on hours)
Location: Mesa, AZ

Qualifications:

• High School or GED required
• Demonstrated experience working independently.
• Demonstrated experience communicating in a friendly and professional manner.
• Demonstrated experience driving large trucks and cargo vans, preferred.
