This position is responsible for conducting technical functions of the pharmacy department in an effective and safe manner. Responsibilities include the filling of orders and maintenance of appropriate supply levels in filling areas. Works closely under the supervision of the pharmacist and works closely with the nursing staff.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of hospital experience preferred to include experience with automated dispensing machines, unit dosing, IV admixture service (including TPN compounding) preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
Current Pharmacy Technician License from New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy is required.
- PTCB certification preferred.
