As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide PTO coverage a minimum of 4 hours/month or as needed up to 16 hours/week including weekends.

Pay range: $17- $23 per hour, based upon experience

About the Facility: Centennial Peaks is an innovative, 104-bed hospital offering comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adults and adolescents. Average census is 70-80. Located in Louisville, the facility serves communities in Boulder and Denver as well as the Front Range. The hospital is about 5 minutes from Flat Irons Crossing Mall in Broomfield. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am-4:00pm. The pharmacy utilizes HCS software. The Pharmacy is located on the main floor and has been remodeled and bright and spacious!

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Colorado Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • PTCB or ExCPT national certification preferred
  • Current BLS Certificate
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
