Pharmacy Technician Job at Vernon Memorial HealthCare
Full time position available to start immediately in our fast-paced newly renovated hospital pharmacy! The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist with ensuring accurate, timely distribution of medication to patients. Duties for the Pharmacy Technician include stocking automated dispensing cabinets, maintaining pharmacy inventory and compounding both sterile and non-sterile medications. Hours for the Pharmacy Technician are four days per week, 10-hour shifts, between 6:00 am - 5:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Qualified Pharmacy Technician candidate must have great attention to detail, strong critical thinking and computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office. Experience with automated dispensing systems strongly preferred. Pharmacy Technician certification a plus.
