Bark Avenue Pet Supply is your pet’s favorite place to sit, stay and shop! Locally owned and operated, we are a destination store that provides everything your dog or cat needs.
All of our staff learn the ins and outs of pet nutrition, and receive regular training on the brands we carry. We want every client to leave our store feeling educated on the products they are purchasing, and how they can enhance their pet’s life.
Our Sales Associates are critical to the daily operations of the store, in this position you will:
- Learn about dog and cat nutrition, and use your knowledge to educate customers
- Assist clients in-store, over the phone and via online messaging with their purchases
- Process transactions on register, handling money and credit cards
- Maintain high-standard of organization and cleanliness in-store
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Replenish merchandise, receive orders and stock shelves
- Attend product trainings with brand representatives and management

Compensation:
- $14.00 an hour
Requirements:
Requirements
- Available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
- Lift 50+ pounds and be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- High school diploma/GED
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Pass background check and drug screening in accordance with local laws and regulations
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Previous experience in premium pet retail preferred, but not required
