Pet Care Attendant Job at Southern Country Pet Care

We are looking for year-round and summer workers at this time.
Overall responsibilities: Take care of the pets, maintain the cleanliness of the facility and yards, interact with customers by taking appointments, checking the pets in, completing transactions, and checking pets out.
Preferred Requirements: Be a caring and patient person in dealing with the pets and customers. Positive attitude and friendly disposition. Must be able to communicate effectively to customers. Able to plan and organize. May be required to deal with aggressive dogs at times and must understand how to effectively deal with the dogs without putting themselves in harm’s way. Must have basic knowledge of how to deal with potential medical issues of dogs related to cuts, heat and diarrhea. Must be able to handle lifting, pulling and tugging up to 50 lbs. Must love dealing with animals and have knowledge of different dog breeds.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
