Emprise Bank is growing, and we are looking for a Payments (BaaS) Banking as a Service Specialist. The Payments BaaS Specialist is responsible for onboarding and ongoing oversight for the Bank’s Embedding Banking Services related to ACH, Wires, Faster Payments, and Mobile Deposits. This job requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought-out results. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary. The job centers around developing new ideas, systems, and technology, and analyzing and improving on old ones. A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to spot and correct errors is important. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule.

Essential functions of the role:

• Regularly interact with fintech partners by providing guidance, corrective action, and ensuring the partner is following rules and regulations
• Coordinate operational support between fintech partner, platform providers and Emprise Bank Operations
• Perform risk assessments, monitoring, testing, issue management, training, and other elements related to Payments.
• Maintain relevant and current knowledge of applicable law, regulation, guidance, and current events that impact the Banking as a Service line of business
• Perform special projects as assigned
• Support Bank Operations Transaction Services team as needed
• Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of Banking experience
• Experience working with fintech companies preferred
• ACH experience required, AAP or APRP certification preferred
• Proficient knowledge of Regulation E and Nacha Operating Rules
