As a Pattern Maker you will produce and repair patterns in the Patternshop to achieve foundry production schedules as well as satisfying customer delivery requirements. You will work to the daily production schedule for the Patternshop as determined by the Production Planner and ensure patterns produced or worked on comply with quality and customer requirements.

Your duties:
- Maintain safe operating and environmental practices
- Liase with internal customers on their requirements
- Report Maintenance work required to Supervisors
- Provide accurate and timely data regarding pattern procurement.
- Identify and report production problems
- Ensure records, reports and necessary documentation are maintained
- Attend toolbox meetings and training as directed by Patternshop Supervisor
- Assist operators to eliminate operating problems
- Contribute ideas to the on going cost reduction process, either written or verbal to your supervisor
- Trade Background- Carpentry/Woodworking
- Good written and verbal communication including mathematical skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- Able to use power tools and operate relevant machinery
- Foundry experience in manufacturing process using plant and equipment would be beneficial
- Understanding of relevant industrial, environmental and occupational health and safety requirements.
