Confections of a Rockstar Bakeshop and Catering Asbury Park, NJ 07712
$15 - $19 an hour
Confections of a Rockstar is looking to hire multiple pastry chefs to create and finish our baked goods. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a retail or commercial bakery as a pastry chef or baker.
Responsibilities:
- Decorating our gourmet cupcakes, cheesecakes, french macarons and other gourmet baked goods for our store front as well as custom orders.
- Knowledge and ability to use Convection ovens.
- Knowledge and ability to use 10 to 60 Qt Mixers.
- Ability to follow our recipes.
- Preparing and scaling ingredients.
- Follow our sanitization procedures and keep a clean work station as well as a clean kitchen.
- Time Management: Make sure all tasks on production sheet are done as described.
- Understand FIFO
- Must be able to work on your feet.
- Must be able to lift 20 to 50 pounds.
