Part-time Human Resources Generalist to support a franchise-based organization

L. Campbell Consulting is managing a search for a part time, hybrid Human Resources Generalist who will oversee all franchisee locations for a Good Feet franchised organization located throughout several states and work directly with management to plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee all human resources functions, policies, and procedures within the organization.

The Human Resources Generalist will ensure development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective human resource processes by assisting the HR lead and management with recruitment, onboarding, training, maintaining employee records, providing administrative support to all employees, monitoring third party systems to meet current and future needs of the organization and all administrative duties for the human resources department of the organization.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following;

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assists the organization in carrying out a variety of human resource programs and procedures.

· Administers employee record systems to include performance management, talent acquisition, training and development and maintenance of human resource policies and procedures.

· Creates and maintains external talent pools to source candidates.

· Manages the interview process from screening, scheduling interviews and onboarding for all new employees.

· Prepares and conducts new employee orientations.

· Coordinates and verifies applicable pre-employment background checks.

· Maintains Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) records, ensuring data accuracy through self-audits and reports through utilization of third-party vendor software.

· Attends leadership meetings as necessary as a representative of the human resource function to provide HR training for attendees and/or report out on human resource updates.

· Assists with company audits.

  • Updates leadership team on current employee count, turnover, new hires, assets, and similar and manages the succession planning process.
  • Ensuring a harassment-free work environment. Also providing a safe and confidential reporting process.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness

· Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies

· Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary

· Associate degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field

· Proven success working in an HR department

· Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail

· Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment

· Three (3+) plus years of prior experience obtaining knowledge of principles and practices of human resources is required

· Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

· Experience with an HRIS system (Paychex, Applicant Pro, etc.,) is preferred.

· An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
