INTERVIEWING NOW for a part-time daycare assistant to work in our home daycare, cleaning and caring for children ages 1-5.

The shift is 15 hours per week with the ability to grow within the company. Additional morning hours could be available occasionally.

I am the owner of a home daycare but we operate much like a preschool. We are located in Santee. We hire those pursuing child development and/ or are interested in learning more about teaching and childcare. Any resumes attached, should reflect this line of work.

We are currently hiring a part-time ( approximately 15-hours per week) afternoon outgoing person to help operate a home daycare working Monday-Friday afternoons.

Pay starts at minimum wage and is dependent on experience, education pertaining to child development and your availability. No college credit courses are mandated for this position but having those ECE units could pay higher. CONTINUE TO APPLY WITHOUT UNITS. ( availability and leadership traits supercede).

Availability for other shifts will also determine pay level.

You will learn more about teaching and caring for young children. Great starter position for students.

Must have some experience with young children such as changing diapers and playing games outside.
Must be good at and comfortable with housekeeping ( indoors and outdoors sweeping, mopping, laundry folding, dusting, and general sanitation of daycare areas).

Because you will be working with children, state requirements of obtaining a background clearance are mandatory ( no DUIs or criminal records will pass).

Must be friendly, flexible, and dependable to show up to work every day. Looking for good work ethics.

Sorry, Moms but NO CHILDCARE is available with this position and all parents should have back up care.
