An established and growing Beaverton based Team Sports Distributor has an opening for a dependable part-time accountant. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, results-driven person who can confidently and successfully perform accounting duties on a part-time weekly schedule.

Job Duties include:

• Input invoices, checks, and EFT deposits
• Reconcile banking and credit card accounts
• Make outbound calls collecting past due accounts
• Match invoices to packing slips and enter inventory into order management system
• Maintain accounting and financial records according to company policy
• Use multiple software systems each day to create invoices and enter data
• Respond to customer emails

Required Experience/Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in accounting or related field
• No less than 3 years’ experience in one or more of the following positions: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Auditing or Bookkeeping.
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Experience with Acumatica considered a plus
• Proficient with Excel, including using formulas and creating pivot tables

• Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have superior time management skills.
• Great attendance and schedule adherence. Punctuality is required.
• An independent problem solver who takes full ownership for work product
• The interest and ability to work effectively with other departments as our team thrives on collaboration from all departments
• Proficient typing skills.

Job Details

Hours: 24 hours a week between Monday through Friday between the hours 7:00 am and 4:30 pm

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary: $25 to $$/hour depending on experience and your ability to show us your skills and capabilities. Increased compensation based on individual contributions and company performance after a reasonable period.

Benefits earned after successfully completing 90 working hour probationary period:

• 72 hours of Paid Time Off awarded annually based on hours worked.

Must have dependable transportation.
