HPM Building Supply in Hilo, Hawaii is seeking to hire a Paint Specialist to save the day by ensuring that our customers get the paint they need. This position is the first to respond when an order is placed and sets the tone for our customers' experience with us. We work with people who live and breathe building materials, so we need someone that is ready to be the hero they need!

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PAINT SPECIALIST

As a Paint Specialist, you assist our customers with their paint project needs. You promptly greet customers and answer any questions to help them make their purchases. Providing customer-focused service, you take orders, receive payment, and handle returns. At the beginning and end of each shift, you walk through your assigned area, tidying up, stocking empty bins, and writing off any damaged inventory.

You put the "zing" in amazing. You're a customer service superhero. When you wear your HPM uniform shirt, you know it's really a cape, and safety is your superpower. QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous retail and paint experience is helpful but not required.
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to frequently lift and move buckets of paint which weigh about 50 pounds.
• Ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time

Building materials knowledge is helpful, but not required. Are you a bird or a plane? No? Good, because that's not what we need! Do you have great problem-solving abilities?
