Job Summary:

The picking/packing associate position is responsible for processing of grocery orders at Boxed Market. It is a fast-paced position requiring great attention to detail combined with a solid problem skill set. Position includes picking and packing orders, restocking warehouse shelves, counting inventory, and light customer service duties.

We are currently looking for full and part-time associates to cover morning, evening and weekend shifts. Saturday and Sunday availability is a must. This position starts at $15/hr + tips.

Responsibilities:

• Pick grocery items from shelves, verify them and pack them efficiently in a very fast paced environment.
• Ensure 100% accuracy on all orders sent out the door through attention to detail during entire packing process.
• Review quality of all grocery products being packed, including produce and perishable products.
• Stock shelves in concert with the inventory associates, as needed.
• Count inventory with company handhelds.

Requirements

• All employees of Boxed Market are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and must show proof of vaccination upon hiring.
• Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
• Must reliably show up on time for shifts
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends (available until 11:00pm for closing shifts)
• Ability to lift loads up to 30 lbs unassisted and push carts weighing up to 90 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to work independently on projects, as needed.
• Ability to work in cold environments (walk-in fridges and walk-in freezers) for prolonged periods of time.
