Summary:
This is a warehouse position responsible for labeling, palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders. The Order Selectors would work in different climates from areas (hot, humid, dry, ambient, or cold). The products selected may include full pick (cases) & display cartons. master pack (partial case) or unit picks (individual products). The Selectors must be able to maintain an expected work pace and meet minimum productivity guidelines. Overtime hours and working weekends and holidays may be are required in order to successfully fill customers’ orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain merchandise from pallet racking.
  • Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
  • Place merchandise pallets to wrapping areas. Automated and/or manual wrap wand to wrap pallets.
  • Select and load products from warehouse storage onto pallets following a work or pick order to prepare product loads for shipping to customer locations.
  • Inspect product for quality assurance, including integrity of packaging and visible signs of damage.
  • Communicate with fellow employees for safe transport of goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Stack product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.).

Requirements:Office Clerk Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Internal Sales agents to prepare orders for shipment
  • Coordinate with warehouse routing team to ready and stage goods for transport
  • Execute outbound shipping process with the customer on an order-by-order basis
  • Prepare outbound shipment manifests and complete all required paperwork domestic and international
  • Maintain a flow of communication regarding shipments/deliveries to customers
  • Record shipments in BOL Spreadsheet with quotes Sales Order and Purchase Orders
  • Reconcile freight billing monthly against quoted and billed accounts

Office Clerk Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service standards
  • 1-3 years of warehouse/distribution experience routing international and domestic freight shipments
  • Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to independently multitask and meet critical date/time targets
  • Preferred skills: Microsoft 365, E-Mail, Word/XL, web-based TMS systems
  • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred
