About PAI Pharma

PAI offers a broad portfolio of more than 60 prescription and over-the-counter therapies to treat patients. Some of our core strengths include brain, immune, metabolic and digestive health. For the OTC market, we provide a wide variety of affordable medications to treat allergies and upper respiratory symptoms, minor aches and pains, constipation and more.

To meet the unique needs of retail chains and independent pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities and government agencies, PAI offers standard bottle packaging and ready-to-dispense packaging. In fact, PAI was the first independent manufacturer to develop vertically-integrated unit dose (UD) packaging, and the first to offer complete lines of hard-to-find liquid products in both out-patient and UD packaging.

GENERAL INFORMATION

PAI Pharma has several opportunities to grow with our packaging operation. Our packaging associates are responsible for packaging generic liquid pharmaceuticals into various materials. These products are used in hospitals, long term care, pharmacies, and more. We know the importance of our products and we are looking for detail oriented people who care about the well being of others to join our growing organization.

KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• inspect for vital imperfections of packaging
• perform duties on the packaging line by operating various equipment
• Follow all work instructions carefully
• Perform functions of Packaging Assoc II-IV
• Organize work of Packaging Assoc on assigned shift
• Answer questions, provide direction and training
• Prepare packaging line for production by confirming line clearance
• Ensure line is setup per batch record
• Ensure correct labeling/packaging components available
• Effectively communicate with other departments
• Communicate department issues & status updates

TECHNICAL APPLICATION

• Placement in Packaging Coordinator position based on interview and selection process

DIRECTION

• Limited supervision required. No instructions needed on routine work and general instructions given on special projects or new assignments
