Public Housing Property Assistant
The Ellenville Housing Authority is searching for a qualified person to work P/T, not to exceed 20 hrs per week, in their busy office. Flexible Schedule. Requirements: ability to Manage 64 Apartments at our Public Housing and Senior Housing Complexes. Knowledge of HUD policies a plus. Duties include data entry, recertification of 64 tenants, rent calculation, cash receipts and all aspects of tenant rent to include handling complaints/issues, writing and maintaining work orders, Wait list management and miscellaneous office duties. Knowledge of QuickBooks & Happy Software a plus but will train. Bilingual is a plus but not a requirement for this position. Must be proficient in computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel. Applicant must be detail oriented and good at multi-tasking. Salary $17.00-$18.00/hr. pending on experience. Employees participate in NYS Retirement.
