The Owner Relations Representative is responsible for answering owner calls, listening to their concerns, and solving problems. They handle both inbound and outbound conversations to ensure owners’ needs are met. You will be successful in this role if you maintain a positive attitude toward your work and empathy for the owners’ needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively and timely with all types of owners (mineral, royalty, working interest, surface).
  • Document and log owner inquiries using company CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Division Orders, Lease Records, Land, and Accounting to solve owner questions and concerns, as necessary.
  • Follow Magnolia’s owner verification process to resolve owner inquires in a variety of systems.
  • Use excellent verbal and written communication skills in all direct communication with owners.
  • Prepare and send necessary documentation to owners as needed via regular mail or email, i.e., Division Orders, Change of Address Form, Direct Deposit Form, Heirship Affidavit, etc.
  • Timely coordination between Owner Relations and Land Administration Analysts to ensure owners’ accounts are suspended, as needed.
  • Ability to research owner information through title opinions, company JIB and Revenue decks, and other documents to determine owners’ account status and communicate the necessary documentation to release owners’ interest from suspense.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of Owner Relations experience with an accuracy and attention to detail, preferably in Oil and Gas.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Superior customer service experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Experience in P2 Land, Thought Trace, and LandVantage a plus.
