Overdraft CSR Job at FSNB,National Association
Department: Overdraft
Reports to: Assistant Vice President
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM (with occasional overtime and Saturdays)
Position Summary
The primary functions of an Overdraft Representative are to assist customers with their overdrawn balance, process insufficient items, and review and maintenance Overdraft Protection (ODP) limits on customer accounts.
Essential Job Functions
- Answer and handle all calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Log customer calls in database
- Process items with insufficient funds daily
- Meet deadlines and balance daily
- Process Overdraft Protection(ODP) requests
- Maintenance ODP limits (adding, increasing, decreasing, removing, suspending)
- Account maintenance, as needed
- Respond to customers through Online Banking
- Prepare letters to notify customers of changes to ODP
- Setup and remove sweeps, as needed
- Create and resolve service requests, as needed
- Adhere to federal guidelines regarding banking and overdraft policies
- Work and assist with reports that are processed daily/weekly
- Filing and other basic office duties
- Be cooperative with co-workers and supervisors
- Help promote a positive, safe, and harassment-free environment
- Be open-minded to learning and taking on new tasks
- Work flexible hours
- Complete additional duties as assigned
