Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Compensation: $52,000 - $55,000 per year plus Commissions

Responsibilities:
- Establish, maintain, market, and sell Concrete Accessories and Mason Supplies, Site & Pipe Products, Waterworks, Special Services, Equipment & Supplies, Equipment Rentals, Instrumentation, Landscape Products, and other products and services that Superior has available to sell
- Maintain and service assigned customers
- Generate new business by building relationships with qualified contractors while maintaining a professional rapport with these customers
- Participate in product training with Product Managers and Vendors
- Become proficient at reading and interpreting project plans and specifications in order to become self-reliant in performing material quantity take-offs
- Accurately preparing quotations in our software and preparing product submittal data to the end user
- Daily review of all assigned customer Sales Orders to check for pricing, product, and quantity accuracy to ensure profitability and verify that there will be no complications at the time of delivery
- Work with Sales Manager and Product Managers to develop and grow the sales, rentals and service capabilities for the accounts assigned
- Willingness to gain better industry knowledge and specific product knowledge
- Assist in the promoting of various specials or focused Superior sales efforts when asked.
- Seek support as needed to ensure you obtain the products and systems knowledge to help you grow in product knowledge and Superior procedures
- Attend and participate in Trade Shows and Sales Meetings when asked with proper notice
- Observe all Safety policies and procedures for the company
- Observe all company Credit policies and procedures
- Calling on potential customers in all areas without the need for reminders.
- Maintain the company owned vehicle per Company Policies.
- Answer all phone calls, emails, job queues from management and co-worker requests for information in a timely manner.
- Ensure all customers are responded to in an efficient, timely, professional, and respectful manner.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of Outside Sales experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office/Outlook
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Outstanding organizational skills
