We aim to find a middle ground with our licensed therapist where they have the flexiblity to engage and provide therapy based on their unique skills and qualifications with the support of an administrative team who works to manage all billing and varying levels of support with scheduling. Our main highlight is we help get new clients scheduled with each therapist based on their unqiue skills and scope of practice while each therapist manages scheduling follow ups to allow for the greatest flexibility with their schedule.

Therapists are able to set their own schedule of between 30-35 billable hours. We pay up to 5 hours of adminstrative time per week on top of the 30-35 billable hours. We offer Medical, Dental, Vision insurance. As well as options for Life insurance, Short term disability insurance, Hospital Indemity insurance, Critical illness, Accident insurance, and many other supplemental insurances to all Full time Therapist. We also offer up to 140 hours of Paid Time off per year as well as 4 paid holidays.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Must have an Active license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCP in the state of Virginia,
• Must eligible for credentialing with major insurance panels
• Must possess basic computer skills

Job Summary:

Therapists provide sessions in person at our office (9023 Forest Hill Ave) or through the telehealth system on a dedicated schedule. Therapists are responsible for monitoring and maintaining their caseloads including session documentation, follow up scheduling/calls, and consistently checking their office phone number and email each business day.

Therapist Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide therapy as part of a dedicated schedule you set, between 30-35 billable client hours required each week.
• Schedule follow up appointments with each client
• Complete Assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation as needed within 24 hours of each appointment
• Coordination with any other providers as needed for care of client
• Manage caseload to ensure only active or scheduled clients remain on caseload
• Maintain Active License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT or LCP in the state of Virginia)
• Maintain Active Malpratice Insurance

Calming Wind Counseling Services, LLC provides support by:

• Access to a easy to use and state of the art electronic health record (EHR) system that includes telehealth functionality

• Credentialing with insurance carriers

• Billing and collecting payments for sessions
• Consistent bi-weekly paychecks

• Personalized access to your own office phone number & email

• Marketing through out social media, website, and other directories

• Scheduling support

Compensation:

W-2 Position

Commission: 65% Commission per billable appointment (works out to between $65-$95 per hour depending on reimbursement rates)

PTO/Holiday Pay and Administrative time (up to 5 hours per week) paid out at Administrative rate.

We also provide therapy to clients who are located throughout the state of Virginia through the use of our secure telehealth platform. Calming Wind Counseling Services, LLC provides services to clients who are children (age 5 and up) , adolescents, and adults through individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
