Optician in Training Job at Gallatin Valley Vision
Our busy Optometrist office is seeking a new team member! We are looking for someone who can help with the daily operations of the office which include scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, placing patient orders, filing insurances, as well as other miscellaneous office tasks.
While the Optician part of the job is required, previous experience is not necessary as we offer on the job training for this aspect.
We currently have an opening in our office with a need for a full time employee. We are located in the Gallatin Valley Mall and are open six days a week, Monday-Thursday 10-7p, Friday 10-6pm and Saturday 10-4p. Availability to work evenings, some weekends, and some holidays is a must.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills:
- Prove proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
- Have above average computer skills
- Strong communication skills both verbally & written
- Be self-directed when needed and a team player when needed
- Previous office experience
- Ability to use common office equipment
- Follow verbal & written instructions
- Take pride in job performance

- Reliable
Wage will be based on experience. Current benefits offered include medical insurance, supplemental insurance, paid time off, discounts on services and products, paid time and a half for holidays worked.
