Position Overview:
Coley and Coley Family Eyecare is seeking highly motivated and energetic candidate with strong customer service background and with excellent communication skills for Optician position available at our Murfreesboro office. An ideal candidate must absolutely love working with patients and be genuinely positive and enthusiastic.
The position of an Optician is a key part to our Optical Team. This team works together to serve all patient needs related to eye wear. The team is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of these products in a retail environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recommends specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit patients' needs
- Assists patients in the selection of frames and coordinates frames with optical measurements and prescription
- Conducts measurements of bridge and eye size, temple length, vertex distance, pupillary distance and optical centers using appropriate tools
- Drive profitable store sales by fostering a customer care culture through practicing and use of effective retail sales skills utilizing the Total Customer Experience Model
- Promptly and professionally assisting the doctor in patient care.
- Performing technical workups, patient histories and special testing.
- Assists the doctor with contact lens evaluations.
- Safely and effectively complete contact lens insertion and removal training with patients.
- Provide general administrative support
Requirements:
- 100% committed to providing legendary, eventful and memorable customer service
- High School diploma
- Experience in Eyecare is a plus
- Available Monday through Thursday
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and general computer skills.
- Bilingual is a plus
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
