POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform required duties to operate and maintain production equipment. Perform set-ups, changeovers, and troubleshooting necessary to sustain production output. Check finished product for conformity to Quality specifications. Operate machine and systems to achieve required productivity and product Quality levels through alertness and attentiveness to detect machine issues and product defects. Colleague is responsible for rapid diagnosis and troubleshooting of machine and systems to maintain standards set for Production Output and Product Quality Standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Be knowledgeable of and exercise Safety practices at all times.
Identify Safety hazards and complete Safety alerts, participate in Safety inspections, recommend solutions and initiate corrective actions on Safety issues perform 5S and Housekeeping inspections, communicate Safety violations, perform and follow-up on accident investigations as required, perform Safety orientation and training, and maintain supplies at machine necessary for Safety, 5S/Housekeeping & GMP requirements.
Perform basic machine operation including loading, unloading, replenishing & changing components as required and/or directed by Team Leader, Mechanic, Superintendent and/or Quality representative. Be able to start, operate, stop, restart & clear jams, and troubleshoot Machine to maintain Product & Quality standards.
Be able to move (push, pull, or otherwise manipulate) materials up to 30 1bs. and climb a ladder or stairs in order to load/reload/replenish materials into required machine systems.
Possess troubleshooting skills and a mechanical aptitude.
Perform basic machine operation and accurately maintain required documentation for Production, Quality, & GMP requirements as necessary.
Audit & inspect Quality of product and related machine stations & tooling in order maintain product quality. Be able to isolate, back log, audit & re-audit questionable product.
Supply, move & remove materials to & from machine and area in order to maintain efficient and safe machine operation or as directed by Team Leader, Superintendent and/or Quality representative.
Mentally and visually pay attention to detecting jams, defective material and/or improper feeding or locating of parts in machine stations or too 1 in g and making corrections to maintain Production & Quality standards.
Operate machine and necessary systems including periodic and per Shift cleaning of machine stations, sensors, tooling surfaces & stations and accurately maintain necessary logs & records for this activity.
Be able to fully and properly start-up and shut down entire machine and related systems for short & long term periods using and following all published and communicated
procedures.
Successfully operate & maintain machine and systems including monitoring of required air & oil pressures, temperatures and other systems to set standards and acceptable operating ranges. Be able to identify and implement troubleshooting and corrective actions necessary to maintain optimum machine operation.
Fill out any and all required paperwork.
Complete housekeeping duties which include: sweeping and wiping down machines.
Perform inspection of parts from a new setup/operation and any other tasks as specified in the control plan.
Clean Machine & systems as required for Operator po1tion during a PM (Preventative Maintenance) or as directed by Team Leader or Superintendent.
Monitor machine settings as required
Train new and other mold team members.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED.

Salary Range: LG5 - Starting from $17.50 per hour, based on experience.
