JOB PURPOSE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Description
The Operations Manager is accountable for the success of all assigned functions within the Accelerate360 high-volume distribution center.
The Operations Manager will analyze trends, problem solve, and motivate personnel to create a working environment ensuring operational excellence in all warehouse areas. This includes efficient operations of warehouse management system(s) and related equipment, inventory efficiency with a focus on safety, proper layout of warehouse, proper product placement, and overall proper maintenance and organization of the facility. Operations Manager will work with team members to enhance procedures, controls and staffing levels to achieve accurate and timely flow and processing of product.
Job Summary
- Supervise, coach, direct and schedule personnel
- Adjust staffing levels based on workloads as required
- Monitor productivity/job performance
- Maintain and exceed production line goals and productivity levels
- Assist with payroll and budgeting
- Effectively resolve service/customer issues
- Ensure employee compliance of all policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Provide constructive coaching and feedback to employees to maximize performance
- Effectively interface with personnel to ensure that issues are resolved
- Maintain proper controls to ensure inventory and documents are handled properly
- Effectively manage multiple tasks to ensure that all service standards are met
- Manage OSHA & KRONOS requirements
- Job Related Duties as assigned
Skill Requirements: The knowledge, skills and abilities acquired through proven experience in related field
Qualifications: Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to be on-call at various times. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree concentrating in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain Proficiency, Word and Excel software applications.
