The Role:


Creative Goods Merchandise LLC (“CREATIVE GOODS”) is a dynamic full-service merchandising company based in NYC with a bold vision for the live entertainment space. Reporting to the Operations Manager (“Manager”), the Operations Associate (“Associate”) is a non-exempt position that works directly with the Operations Department on retail projects to ensure company policies and procedures are met. The Associate will be required to work staggered hours, which will include evenings and weekends. The Associate must project a positive image of Creative Goods, the client, and the venue in all circumstances and must represent and foster the culture, values, and mission of Creative Goods in their work, be a stellar representative of CG, their clients, and venues. We’re looking for someone self-motivated with proven experience and who is a strong collaborator.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manage schedule for all teams at Broadway NYC locations
  • Build templates and maintain schedule parameters for all locations outside of NYC and experiences
  • Manage purchasing and monthly oversight of scheduling program
  • Monitor and report out weekly on labor % and productivity for each location
  • Review labor violations weekly, reporting out lateness, call outs, no call/no show rates, etc.
  • Manage coverage needs to Broadway call outs, shift changes, etc.
  • Remote train managers in the field on how to use scheduling programs, and schedule teams to business needs
  • Onboard all employees into scheduling system upon completion of hiring paperwork
  • Participate in manager on-call rotation to cover all operational days and hours
  • Work with the Operations team to ensure efficiencies in processes and operational functions
  • Work with all corporate departments to enable efficient and effective communication with field teams
  • Provide backup support for the Sr. Director and managers in their absence
  • Answer day-to-day inquiries from managers and staff regarding all aspects of operations
  • Assists in launches and load-outs and follow approved schedule
  • Helps develop and support an employee-oriented company culture that supports Diversity and Inclusion and emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, development, respect, and equity for all

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least four (4) years of operational experience
  • Requires excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, possess strong analytical skills, use creative problem solving, sound judgment and reprioritize within short notice to deliver under deadlines and senior management responsiveness
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency with a results orientation
  • This role requires attention to detail, organization, project management, execution, stellar communication skills, and a relentlessly positive attitude
