Job Title: Operational Analyst

Reports To: EVP, Priority Build

Location: Dallas, TX

Summary:

Priority Technology Holdings is looking for a skilled/driven individual to join their growing team. As an Operational Analyst, you will develop and maintain management reporting packages across finance, sales and product development. In this position you will perform data driven analysis to aid leadership in financial and process performance decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics.
• Work with other functional leads and teams to develop KPI metrics and dashboards.
• Maintain KPI dashboards across sales, product development and finance to help evaluate process performance.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Perform market research, data mining and business intelligence.
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models tracking Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must, proficiency with Google Sheets and other Google workspace preferred but can be taught in job.

Qualifications:

• 0-3+ years of business finance or other relevant experience.
• Proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or relevant field preferred.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Good business acumen.
• Fluency in payments and financing products preferred.
