Digital Fire Team is seeking an energetic, positive, friendly and reliable employee with good customer service skills to join our Front Desk team.
The General Office Clerk is responsible for our front office from 8am - 5pm M-F. The position encompasses completing sales orders, working with customers, answering the phones, and completing various other administrative tasks. This person must have a professional demeanor. They must be efficient and accurate in their paperwork. Some logistics work will be required such as taking inventory and pulling small orders for customer pickup. Our front desk person is responsible for processing information while using a desktop computer.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Must enter information accurately in a timely fashion using specified Digital Fire Team procedures.
- Scan/upload documents and receipts on a daily basis with the highest degree of timeliness and accuracy.
- File data and forms with the highest degree of timeliness and accuracy to include searching for file information, keeping files current, and supplying information from file data or electronic data files.
- Ships packages to include preparing and monitoring tracking receipts to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Answer phones.
- Use Asset Management System.
- Invoice and Collect payments from customers.
- Route customer inquiries.
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
Required Skills:
- Able to bend, stoop, and kneel while filing and/or putting away supplies.
- Able to lift 20-40 lbs. of files or other documents.
- Ability to read documentation and follow various forms of processing documentation.
- Ability to change between various work tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy and timeliness expectations.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of phone inquiries.
- Basic computer and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
