Plastic Surgery Nurse Practitioner

We are a state-of-the-art holistic and medical aesthetic center for anti-aging located in Austin, TX. Our mission is to provide our patients with excellent holistic, medical aesthetic care, individually tailored wellness services with the aim to improve their overall wellness, self-image, enhance their physical beauty, and improve their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, pre and post procedure.

We are seeking a hard-working, high energy Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping others look and feel their best. The candidate must have a passion for the industry and be willing to train, learn and continue to grow with our team. Our ideal candidate will have experience with pre and post op patients, nutrition, supplements, IV therapy, PRP, Injectables, Laser services, radio-frequency, and skin care. Our Ideal candidate will have previous knowledge in the plastics field and some knowledge of injectables.

The Position:

  • Be a leader of the day-to-day activities of our growing practice.
  • Assist 2-3 days per week at our off site surgical center with the Doctor and Surgical Technician
  • Be able to confidently and accurately mix and administer IV treatments in office
  • In collaboration with attending physician, the PA performs triage on surgery days, and on office days, performs post exams, collects and documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies, diagnostic procedures and professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, coordinates the care of patients, and provides direct patient care services for breast reconstructive plastic surgery patients.
  • Along with attending physician, establish systems, long term treatment plans and protocols for all Aesthetic patients; both new to the practice and those transitioning from the Surgical side.
  • Assist in preoperative & postoperative communication, including direct patient phone calls, text & emails.
  • Cross-sell procedures and products/supplements that complement the treatment and enhance the result
  • Assist for in-office procedures
  • Contribute to our marketing strategy by agreeing to appear in social media and other marketing outlets if needed
  • Be accurate and detailed in EHR note taking and pre/post op photos for clients online profile
  • Aesthetics Injectable experience preferred, not necessary
  • Adheres to office and surgery center policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations and codes to promote a quality, highly reliable patient experience.
  • Provide timely documentation in the electronic medical record of all relevant data including results of diagnostic tests; laboratory results; patients’ condition and response to therapies/interventions; communications with physician colleagues.

  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, best practices regarding patient care and privacy, and changes in local/state/federal regulations.
  • Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook), Electronic Health Record.
  • Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
  • Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.
  • Previous scheduling experience is helpful
  • Must be ok working outside normal weekly hours when needed
  • Must be able to provide at least 3 professional and 3 personal references prior to hire date

This is a full-time position: Hourly + *Benefits Package

*Eligible post 90 day probationary review

Benefits Package: Quarterly bonus TBD by profits of company

  • Quarterly Bonus of with achievement of company pre-set goals

Quarterly bonus amount varies and is TBD by profits of the company.

PTO can be offered for those employees who are able to contribute 70 hours to the company. A total of 80 hours of PTO can be accrued in a calendar year.

It also takes a 70hr contribution to the company to become eligible for Health Care benefits.
