Allwell's Office Based Nurse utilizes the nursing process to evaluate, monitor and provide for the psychiatric health care of Allwell Behavioral Health Services clients. Provides health and safety education programs to team members, clients, group home operators, residential settings, and Allwell staff as indicated.

Accountabilities:

• Provides primarily office-based health/safety to individuals, families, and clients.
• Provides community linkage and coordination with health care providers, Allwell Pharmacological Management Program, and other services as indicated.
• Reviews and completes health assessment, manages health care needs of clients, as well as follows-up on health related concerns.
• Reviews and evaluates medication administration and compliance to various sites and coordinates and/or provides training.
• Assists clients with maintaining health and medical needs by developing, implementing, and evaluating these needs utilizing the treatment plan.
• Provides nursing services as needed and directed.
• Provides in-service education/training on health/safety issues for Allwell staff, clients, and/or external facilities, and as indicated by the needs presented.
• Complies with clinical supervision requirements.

Abilities/Skills:

• Efficient in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating medication treatment to communicate effectively with MD
• Must be self-directed in nursing practice
• Must be a team-oriented
• Must be able to prioritize and manage a schedule with multiple demands involving clients, colleagues, and the general public
• Must be willing to travel to various Allwell sites in six counties

Education/Experience/Licensure:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a current Ohio nursing license (LPN or RN).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.94 - $23.24 per hour
