Job Summary:

As a Logistics team member, you’ll be an integral part of Logistics operations serving Northeast manufacturing and engineering sites. In this role you’ll support a variety of Logistics functions focused on inbound material flow, warehousing, and customer delivery. As part of your job, you’ll embed in key processes, use a number of systems and tools, and drive strategic improvement projects across the value chain. You will work on a variety of tactical and strategic initiatives in all areas of Logistics with the goal of elevating Logistics value to our business partners.

Assignments include but are not limited to:

• Process analysis and improvement in all Logistics functional areas:

• Inventory management and control

• Data analytics and reporting

• Tools and technology related to Logistics

The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience in working in a teamwork environment, having not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. Additionally, the candidate should possess an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to complement their academic experience.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• An undergraduate degree and pursuing a master’s degree majoring in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations or closely related.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

• Demonstrated Lean Experience and/or Six Sigma concept

• Experience with Logistics Execution in an Enterprise Resource Planning System (SAP)

• Strong analytical, problem solving and business communication skills

• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

• Proficient skills working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

This position can be an intern based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:

• Post-Graduate Administrative Intern- must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program

Location: This position is located onsite at Andover, MA
