The North American Golf Tour(www.northamericangolftour.com) is expanding into one of the nation’s largest independent amateur golf tours for players of all ages, handicap ranges, and skill levels. We offer players a season long tour experience, through a local tournament schedule, with flight play for Amateurs, Seniors, Veterans, and First Responders that help players earn points and prizes that qualify them for a National Championship in each of the four categories above.

Founded by Matt Johnson formerly of the Golf Channel AM Tour and now owner of the NAGT. Matt founded the largest independent golf tour known as the Queen City AM Tour and is now expanding that model and looking for passionate golf enthusiasts, leaders, and growth minded independent operators to help us grow the game, tour, and membership by sharing our values of camaraderie, competition, and charity.

The local Tour Director will work closely with our leadership team to help schedule local golf tournaments with local and regional courses, promote the tour, and bring in new members who have the option to pay for membership or simply play locally as a nonmember to trial the tour.

The Tournament Director will be run anywhere from 8-12 events depending on their market with flexibility to run and earn more.

The Tour Director should be experienced in the game of golf, have a basic understand for the rules of golf, have a passion for people, and connected to the local golfing community and charities.

Experience in amateur golf tournaments a plus; as a player or director, or pro.

Job Types: Part-time, Independent Contractor with no start up fees or expenses.

Support: Each local director will receive training, support, supplied with tour signage to brand and enhance your local events, provided uniforms, and be given full access to growth opportunities.

Pay: 1st year can average $10,000-25,000 with income doubled within the first 3 years as your tour grows. An average director can make anywhere from $500-2500 per tournament and has flexibility to run as many events as they wish from Jan-mid August.
